Hi, I'm Sam! I moved to Wilmington in 2021 from the North East and have been doing hair professionally since 2017. My specialty is hair color and cuts, and I have experience working with all hair types. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to hair, so getting to know my clients and taking a custom approach with each one is something I take very seriously. When I'm not at the salon, you can find me working on social media content (I'm also a Youtube vlogger), watching a true crime documentary, or spending time with my dog, Bennie. Sam Vay Studios is a private salon suite located in Wilmington, NC, minutes from Wrightsville Beach. I only take one client at a time, so every appointment will guarantee you one-on-one attention, a peaceful atmosphere, and tons of privacy. If big, loud salons give you anxiety and make you overstimulated, you'll feel right at home here.
